It used to be that nailhead trim was found only on dusty old library chairs. But these days, it seems to be lighting up furniture and accessories like shiny stud earrings. Cottage Living magazine even features an entryway in this month’s issue that is beautifully trimmed with 1,700 nailheads — each individually hammered into the wall.
If you’re looking for something that will put a little pizzazz in your space, nailheads are not only on trend at this moment, but their classic simplicity also makes them a timeless style statement.
Shine Every Day, the company that makes anything ordinary into something delightfully special, has an entire line of furniture that uses nailheads as an elaborate embellishment with colorful, happy upholstery. They include the Florence and Sydney collections and the Humphrey ottoman.
